Who We are

Camyan is a French bilingual, independent daycare center for children aged three months to five
years.
At Camyan, we have the resources, experience, space, time and energy to focus on each and every child’s happiness and health. Taking care of children is about thinking of the best way to ensure their safety, their physical and psychological development, and most of all nurturing their self-confidence. That is why we focus on providing childcare activities that engage the children in dual languages.

TEACHER PHILOSOPHY

All of our staff members have current CPR and First Aid certifications. They are encouraged to learn and introduce new methods through available resources and professional development opportunities.
All staff members are screened upon application and undergo a thorough criminal background search conducted by the Oregon Department of Education Central Background Registry.
All permanent staff members at Camyan Daycare are trained in the principles and practices of Early Childhood Care and Education.
We seize upon endless teachable moments and so provide a full flexible program for each child to enjoy and use at their own pace.
With our guidance and encouragement, each day is a new day and every day is a day for learning in these early years.
Our team of educators are competent and nurturing early childhood development professionals who are committed to your child's happiness and learning. Our team of educators speak English, French, Italian and Spanish.
